I started with drawing re-creations of artwork from other content creators, before I started using the fabrication of my own mind this is where I started.
Created in 2018, I started my first art class in High School.
//
This was a piece I did back in 2018, with a silver etching paper, most practicing and focusing on highlights and shading.

This piece used charcoal and pastels

The inspo for this piece was to create a small scene of the "Dead Man Hand" and the idea of wrapped. I used pastel for the color in the ribbon, which wraps and ties many of the elements in the picture come together.
"An Unusual Friendship:" This piece was inspired by a science fiction I wrote, and furthered my conceptual work to be inspired by stories and furthered the crazy visions and weirdness my brain could create.
//
This story will available to read on the references and inspo page.

I wanted this piece to be a part of my "Duality" series, but decided against it, because I thought that this piece could convey a different message. The message I thought about was, "reflection" or maybe even "twin." While "Duality" is told through similar attributes to "twin" this piece felt like it could be more on the reflection of a duality. On the left you see the one twin rise to glory, while on the right you see the other twin grow to defeat. The younger selves show how the duality between the two came to be. However, it's a reflection to both selves to where you start and where you go.

For this piece I wanted to do a "foreshortening" perspective and to make it really dramatic as if they were popping off of the pages.
//
I ripped up pieces of paper and later glued them to one big sheet of paper to really try to sell the idea of the pages ripping themselves from the book. I chose really bright and saturated colors for this project as well. I wanted the picture of a "story book" to tell its own story.

This piece was done by using only Copic markers.
//
I submitted this piece to the Copic 2022 art competition, the process for creating this piece was really fun; since, I never really used a lot of Copic markers in one piece before. I primarily loved the colors and the perspective I chose for this piece, as I have recently been inspired by narrow Asian street lights at night.

This piece was drawn with copic markers, and final editing was done on procreate.

Inspired by the High Gothic architecture period in Europe around the 1200's to the 1300's. This piece was highly inspired by the tall Cathedral windows. Featuring a girl sitting by the center window, and the night sky and darker atmosphere.
